Wa Alaikum Salaam,The feminization of mdroen man is one of my biggest pet peeves. Certainly, there is no excuse for discrimination or subjugation of women. However, the pendulum has swung too far in the other direction now. On most popular television shows like The Simpsons, the father is shown as being a goofball with no common sense. Whereas the mother is kind, sensible and moderate. This idea permeates throughout much of Western entertainment. And now women are acting more manly, marrying later (if at all), and having fewer children. Meanwhile, men are obsessed with video games well into their 30 s and 40 s. They eat, drink, and breathe sports. And view family life as a burden that is better left alone. Unfortunately, I see this behavior with many Muslim men also. I believe this feminization of men is part of the problem of many of the ills that Muslims face today:obsession with pornographyunwillingness to get marriedfornication and adulterylack of basic Islamic knowledgeweak and feeble looking to non-Muslimspreference to marry non-Muslim women over Muslim women (I know it's not haraam, but it can lead to problems)Okay, I'm done ranting.

Salaams brotherIt just goes to show the state we are in the htminauy needs retraining in the basics especially for men to be men. Men fail on many of the behaviours that are so fundamental to the solidity of the family unit and then society because of a number of reasons. Overbearing mothers who ruin them, being raised in fatherless environments for whatever reason having no role model, fathers being present but the worst of examples and the effeminisation and emasculation of men via media/fashion and plain ignorance.Most men are looking for their wives to mommy them both in the home and the workplace and cannot lead and cannot provide.A huge fitnah is emerging more each day for our ummah.We need precise reminders like the one you have formulated in this presentation to remind men (and for women too) of the God appointed duty that one day they will all have to answer for.Barak'Allahu fik.
